Position Summary: Reporting to the Ultrasound Supervisor, incumbent performs the full range of basic diagnostic Ultrasound procedures and the more complex specialized procedures. Will prepare and position patients, adjust equipment to best demonstrate area of interest, operate various stationary and portable equipment and imaging systems. Will rotate shifts and assignments as needed. Hours will include holiday rotation. Assists in the training of Technologist Students as assigned. The technologist is expected to display professional conduct at all times in their interactions with other staff members, patients and visitors.
Salary Range: Rate Minimum $40.12 Midpoint $45.01 Maximum $49.90
Required Qualifications: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the HealthSystemAbility to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workloadBasic Life SupportCompetent with the following exams: NICU, Vascular surgery, Breast imaging, dialysis access, arterial upper and lower extremity, carotid Doppler studies, and TIPPS.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishExperience with Pediatric ultrasound to include neonatal headsMust demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the jobMust have three years experience in diagnostic ultrasoundMust possess A.R.D.M.S. certification
Preferred Qualifications: A.R.D.M.S. in at least two specialtiesKnowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and formsRegistered RVT
