Job Posting: Summary of Essential Job Duties: MRI technologist with Breast Imaging experience who works well with out-patients in a fast paced busy environment. Works well independently and as part of a small team. Must have strong abilities to stay on schedule and critically think through solutions during challanging situations. Attention to details a must. Personal schedule flexibility a must. Will be part of group rotation that includes weekends and various weekdays. Will be called upon to switch days when others are absent or on vacation. Will be asked to take occasional xrays, help with CT and do IV's. Must be able to provide high level customer service. Must have strong technical skills to include MRI physics/protocol knowledge. Hours to be discussed based on dept needs. Must be flexible. Will rotate days, weekends. Based on dept needs future opportunity for full time benefits. Must be considered " MRI safe" and able to work within Zone 1V MRI environment at all times as established by ACR Guidance Document for Safe MR Practices:2007. Educational Requirements: Must have graduated from an accredited school. MRI certificate or in process of obtaining certification in MRI. License/Certification/Registration Requirements: CRT, ARRT, BCLS. All candidates will undergo MR screening to ensure their safety in an MR environment. Experience: Prefer 2 years experience (Siemens) in a fast paced MRI facility. Breast imaging experience required. Physical Demands: (e.g., lifting, standing, walking) Lifting, standing, walking required. Must be "MR safe" and able to work within ZONE IV MRI environment.ability to work On Call
