The Associate Director for Annual Giving supports the mission of Loyola Marymount University by working to develop and implement direct marketing and fundraising strategies that sustain and grow the philanthropic base of support for the University, understanding the continued and critical importance of growing the alumni participation as reported in US News and World Report and impacting our US News Report Rankings. The position oversees direct marketing and solicitations deployed through direct mail, email, phone, websites, social media, e-philanthropy, peer-to-peer, volunteer tools, and other mass communications tools as needed, with the expressed goal of prompting and facilitating charitable giving, as well as increasing awareness and engagement among LMU’s various stakeholder constituencies.

Typically a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Incumbent will be expected to continue upgrading knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to keep abreast of regulation/policy changes.
A minimum 5 years nonprofit fundraising and/or direct marketing experience, in progressively responsible positions, preferably in a higher education setting.
