The IIAT Advantage E&O Account Executive establishes a partnership between the client, the insurance company, and service support team to assure clients of quality protection, valued customer service, and excellent claims reporting support. Manage all aspects of business development including; follow up on inbound leads, research, preparation and delivery of presentations both in-person and via telephone, binding and hand-off to service support team. A strong client advocate and resource for risk related questions and concerns. Work collaboratively with the team to improve client strategy, E &O program participation and offerings for optimal success and effectively manage and grow client accounts.

Primary Areas of Responsibility:
Use a customer-focused, value oriented consultative sales approach to educate customers on what products will best meet their business needs; building long term relationships
Foster strong relationships with our customers to maintain a high level of client retention within the E&O program
Interact with clients and underwriters explaining, clarifying, negotiating and resolving client issues and concerns
Pre-qualifies and analyzes prospects coverage needs, recommends coverages and prepares quotes and proposals. Educates clients as to coverage provisions. Submits applications to carriers and ensures timely follow up
Finalize policy review process ensuring thorough analysis
Oversee the performance and quality assurance of client service work product and workload with outsourcing service team ensuring consistent compliance with standards and procedures.
Provides active account management for all existing clients including account rounding, renewals, and customer service for all policy changes, servicing, and claims.
Develop and implement a solid sales strategy
Independently manage a pipeline with multiple prospects, conduct in depth market research to identify and qualify new account opportunities, and to document progress in management system
Stays current of industry information, trends, new products, coverages, and technology to continually improve knowledge to more effectively serve client base.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing preferred but not required
Developed client communication, management and influence selling techniques
Extensive understanding of insurance markets, products and usages, including but not limited to, account exposures, insurance coverages, and the quoting process required in order to effectively manage client accounts required.
