Primary Responsibilities:Process operational exceptions for future and existing customers Ensure competitive, high quality, segment - specific and customer - focused strategies are incorporated into active proposals Accountable for effective communication and coordination with team members and sales, account management, finance, legal, panel members and executive leadership Ensure successful management and completion of multiple projects under dictated timelines Support Sales by setting clear expectations and providing guidance for developing alternative solutions to support growth initiatives Oversee assigned cases and ensure adherence to business rules and due dates, attend department and / or company sponsored training programs and meetings and promote continuous improvement by ensuring adherence to quality principles Capture data to support the development of new, robust operational standards Responsible for supporting the Sales, Pricing, Client Services, and Operations teams Performs other duties as assigned to meet corporate objectives Reports into the SVP of Pricing, Proposals, Reporting and Analytics Works closely with leadership, operations, and with other partnering team members
Required Qualifications:Bachelor degree in English, Business, or Finance, or other degree with Pre - Law emphasis 5+ years of legal or proposals experience, preferably in a healthcare / pharmaceutical / corporate environment. Can be met with a combination of work experience, advanced degree studies, internships, etc. 2+ years working knowledge of the Pharmacy Benefits Management industry Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications:Familiarity with SalesForce Careers with Optum.
