In this role, you'll help keep our high-volume pharmacy benefits facility running smoothly with emphasis on maintaining inventory and storage of prescription medicines. You'll need to have a strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in preparing prescriptions for other pharmacy support staff or for our members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential as these prescriptions are critical to our member's health and well-being. Primary Responsibilities:Pull medical supplies and IV pump found on a patient's delivery ticket and package with medication for home delivery, utilizing cold packs and other packaging materials.Create labels, manifests and schedule Fed Ex pickups. Route deliveries to appropriate party (internal driver / courier, Fed Ex, external courier), record / track each shipment to the courier utilized. Track completion of deliveries (online FedEx verification) to assure successful delivery.Make contact with Fed Ex customer service to trouble shoot delivery issues. Clean IV pumps returned from patient's homes.Stock freezer with ice packs.Straighten and clean the warehouse to keep shipping area free of unnecessary debris or clutter.Monitor prescription drug inventory within pharmacy computer system.Maintain proper storage of prescription drug inventory.
Required Qualifications:High School Diploma / GED or 10+ years of equivalent work experienceAbility to work 8:30 am-5:00 pm, PST Monday- Friday including possible overtime and / or weekend shifts as business needs ariseCourier / delivery, warehouse, shipping or other inventory maintenance experienceProficiency with a computer and Windows PC applications including ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system application Soft Skills: Strong organizational and multi-tasking skillsFocus and attention to detail is a must as it is imperative that sick patients get the right medication and right supplies the first timeMust tolerate or thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment (peak and valley workflow).
