The Auxiliary Services Coordinator serves as the campus expert for the Auxiliary Services department, specifically the functional and technical support of Blackboard Transact software and related equipment as well as card production software, equipment and associated database applications that provide direct support to the Lion Card program. These operations and major projects include campus identification, third party integrations, management of campus point of sale systems including PCI compliance and electronic door access. Other special projects as dictated by universityâ™s needs. Responsibilities: -ASSISTS: Assists the auxiliary services manager with external vending contracts, general office operations, identification and vision and direction of campus card program, Assists with department related projects. -MAINTAINS: Maintains database records for Lion Cash debit card program, identification cards, graduation and ring merchandise program. -TRAVELS: Travels off campus to remote sites to produce identification cards and sell merchandise related to graduation. -SUPPORTS: Supports coordination and relationships with external vendors regarding grad fairs associated with college rings and graduation merchandise sales -PROVIDES: Provides back up daily support of Lion Cash deposit accounts, serves as lead for event setups, carding, POS, attendance readers. -SERVES: Serves as the campus technical expert with Blackboard Transact, includes maintaining hardware and credit card processing ability, administers and manages repair projects for the Blackboard Transact system. -ASSISTS: Assists in coordinating card access for meal plans for resident life students and off campus participants, and provides administrative support for meal plan reconciliation using multiple databases. -SERVES: Serves as the campus technical expert with card production software and operates photographic equipment for multiple applications and assists in coordination of identification for students, faculty and staff, assists with campus leadership to provide identification support for service areas, special groups including orientations, summer camps and conferences, organizations on and off campus facilities and event setups. -MANAGES: Manages various consumer on-line transactions which includes petty cash and performs cashier functions, cash collections and preparing daily reconciliation of receipts for deposits, and fund transfers related to off campus merchants. -ASSISTS: Assists in creation and production of programs operating within budget projections. -MAINTAINS: Maintains and reconciles all accounts related to the one-card program and auxiliary services. -SERVES: Serves as lead for department related master calendar events -ASSISTS: Assists in the operation and maintenance of auxiliary services aligned with the Lion Card system. -SERVES: Serves as back up to auxiliary manager for automated door schedules and emergency planning -MANAGES: Manages the comprehensive suite of solutions and services that integrate identification and debit card services to auxiliary enterprises, including support for auxiliary managed doors and public print locations.
Education and Experience:
Required: Bachelorâ™s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Three years of related experience. Must be proficient in computer and database applications. Strong ability to identify and problem solve technical issues. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
Preferred: Experience in a business or professional setting. Experience in Blackboard Transact software or similar application. Knowledge of programming and configuration management of software experience ideal. Knowledge of door hardware and electronic applications, basic accounting principles, experience handling cash, office management experience, ability to utilize computer technology to access and manipulate data/or systems, maintain records, generate reports, communicate with others, and previous university experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: -Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others. Ability to travel to remote sites as needed.
