Daily coordination of personnel and resources within the Kidney Transplant Team. Function as a triage nurse and answer all patient calls that require an RN (Medical signs/symptoms, critical lab results, patient needs, lab orders).
Assisting with medication refills and lab review. Orchestrating clinic to ensure each team stays on time, focusing on patient safety and quality of care, this includes but not limited to:
Coordinate urgent testing and scheduling.
Support transplant coordinators when they are assisting in the transition of care from inpatient to outpatient. Assisting the transplant surgeon during recipient and living donor surgical post op visits.
Managing and coordinating care for patients (living donor and recipients) with surgical complications (ex: wound care)

· Coordinates staff scheduling, educational/development activities, and performance evaluations.
· Identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of clinical services.
· Performs quality assurance studies and assists with implementation of QA/QI initiatives.
· Serves as a resource to staff and external contacts on issues related to patient care, patient flow and clinical standards, policies and procedures.
· Monitors departmental compliance with applicable requirements, including accreditation, legal, and any regulatory agency.
Graduate of an accredited Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years experience.
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
2 years nursing experience.
Preferred: Charge Nurse experience.
