The Emergency Response Practitioner at Quentin Mease Community Hospital (QMCH) is a licensed practitioner who provides appropriate life-saving measures 1) to Harris County citizens who are receiving care or seeking emergency care at QMCH; and 2) to those including employees - who are otherwise on or near the QMCH campus. This is a registry, non-benefited position.
Education/Licensure/Specialized Training: Completed EMS training from a program approved by the Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS). Currently licensed by TDSHS.
Work Experience: 1 year experience as a Paramedic in the state of Texas
Management Experience: N/A
Equipment Operated: Including but not limited to: A.E.D. & defibrillator; nebulizer, oxygen, pulse oximeter, glucometer, suction apparatus, 12-lead EKG.
Skills/Knowledge: Must be knowledgeable of standard Patient Care Guidelines and Standing Orders for Paramedics in the state of Texas.

WORK SCHEDULE: Weekends, Holidays, Flexible, On Call up to 24 consecutive hours on site
