At a minimum, candidates must possess the equivalent to possession of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in Accounting, Business Administration, or Public Administration, including or supplemented by advanced course work in accounting, and have two (2) years of professional-level experience in responsible accounting work. A CPA License is highly desirable.
