Performs a variety of administrative/secretarial duties to support a department, school/college, program or unit. Will compile and analyze information for reports or presentations; may assist with bookkeeping duties to track budgets, respond to correspondence; edits and proof reads documents; maintains records and databases, and updates them as necessary; assists with scheduling and maintenance of calendars, makes travel arrangements, answers questions about routine policies applicable to the department or office unit; updates social media accounts; and may oversee student employees. General Core Duties Include:

Schedules appointments, makes travel arrangements, maintain calendars, greets visitors.
Handles sensitive or confidential information.
Composes memos and routine office memoranda, transcribes notes.
Typically a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Incumbent will be expected to continue upgrading knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to keep abreast of regulation/policy changes.
Minimum two years administrative support experience in progressively responsible positions. Demonstrated experience should include – management of highly sensitive information; management of multiple conflicting priorities; and facilitation of communication between numerous parties.
Demonstrated knowledge in the areas of: Modern office practices and procedures, telephone and computer techniques, filing systems, and knowledge of university policy and procedure
Exemplary communication skills (both written and oral) evidenced by background in preparing comprehensive reports and executive summaries incorporating complex, highly technical information.
Highly developed organizational and leadership skills.
Demonstrated computer competency and preferably knowledgeable of Microsoft Office Professional systems.
Project management skills involving complex variables and project deadlines.
