As a Principal Consultant, you will be an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Location for this position is San Jose, CA. This position does not require travel.
Qualifications Basic â¢ Bachelorâs degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. â¢ At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology
Preferred â¢ At least 10+ years of experience in Oracle Transportation management (OTM) consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture and architectural frameworks. â¢ Detailed functional knowledge and minimum 3-4 full cycle implementations as a consultant using Oracle Transportation management and GTM â¢ Experienced in multi-country OTM implementations for large multi-national customers. â¢ Understanding Customer Business Processes / Requirements and analyzing their feasibility with respect to OTM/GTM functionalities â¢ Preparation of Project Scope, Business Requirement Blueprint and various Functional Specification DocumentsÂ â¢ Preparation of Business Process and Application level mapping documents â¢ Configuring and Demonstrating critical end-end business scenarios as part ofÂ Conference Room Pilot (CRP) sessions â¢ Adept in end-to-end development/configuration of OTM ncludes custom application developments from inception, requirement specs, planning, designing, implementation, configuration management and documentation. Configuration of OTM and modelling of customer business requirements as per the application standards â¢ Suggesting innovative, cost and effort effective solution options for addressing various non-standard business requirementsÂ â¢ Preparing functional Test Cases and Scenario documents â¢ End-end Functional and Integration testing of various application modules and custom designed components â¢ Training end users on the application functionality/features and assisting them during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase. â¢ Providing Go-Live and post-implementation warranty support for resolving any business issues, in accordance with the agreed SLA terms â¢ Analysing feasibility and impact ofÂ various Enhancements/Change Requirements (CRs) on existing configurations, before implementing the same Managed large projects and complex solutions, process harmonization,Â scalable and sustainable solutions â¢ Knowledge of Visio for creating process maps and application architectures. Good communication and articulation skills â¢ Hands-on expertise in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle(SDLC) including Analysis of Business Requirements, Technical & Functional Specifications, Solution Design, Development/Configuration, Application Integration, CRPs, UAT, Cut-over, Go-live and Support.
