And we do it all with every action focused on our shared values of Integrity, Compassion, Relationships, Innovation, and Performance.Primary Responsibilities:Responsible for telephonic crisis intervention, suicide prevention, mental health and substance abuse screenings via the 24 / 7 San Diego Access and Crisis Line.Triage individuals' presenting symptoms as mild, moderate, severe and provide the appropriate level of care behavioral health referrals.Provide basic information via phone to members regarding their behavioral health benefits.Responsible for entering accurate relevant data and clinical information into computer and / or electronic health record.Document all calls clearly for continuity of care.Take 25 to 45 calls per day.Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:Master's Degree (or higher) in the Behavioral Health field (Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Human Services)2+ years of post-graduate experience providing direct, individual therapy and Psychological AssessmentsAbility to navigate a windows environment and utilize Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook in a professional settingAbility to type 35 - 40 wpm (or more)Ability to work two 10 - hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday, anytime between 5:30 AM to 6 PMPreferred Qualifications:Call Center experienceRegistered intern with BBSASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) CertifiedCrisis Center experienceBilingual fluency in English and SpanishSoft Skills:Ability to work in a fast-paced, call center environmentCareers with Optum.
