Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center (Center), home of three Nobel laureates, is an independent, nonprofit research institution dedicated to the development and advancement of biomedical research to eliminate cancer and other potentially fatal diseases. Recognized internationally for its pioneering work in bone-marrow transplantation, the Center\u2019s five scientific divisions collaborate to form a unique environment for conducting basic and applied science. The Center, in collaboration with its clinical and research partners, the University of Washington and Seattle Children\u2019s is the only National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center in the Pacific Northwest.
The mission of the Office of HIV/AIDS Network Coordination (HANC) is to support the science and operations of the NIH-funded global HIV/AIDS Clinical Trials Networks by increasing efficiency and resource sharing through cross-network coordination of critical activities. HANC provides a framework for collaboration and improved communication among network staff, DAIDS staff, research site staff, and the many partners and research groups engaged in the NIH research agenda.
The HANC Project Coordinator reports to the HANC Project Manager responsible for managing Cross-Network Coordination-related activities. The incumbent is responsible for assisting the HANC Project Manager in the coordination of all HANC Cross-Network Coordination-related activities including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
