Located in the north Denver suburb of Westminster, St. Anthony North (SAN) is a full-service, acute-care community hospital. Under general supervision performs clerical functions required in preparation of correspondence and complex reports, minutes and memos. Screens, refers and replies to telephone inquires, greets and directs visitors. Handles incoming and outgoing mail, maintains files and record systems(s). Operates standard office equipment. Drafts response memos for supervisor's signature. Prepares special presentation/ reports and spreadsheets. Leads projects and any other office duties as it relates to the department(s)' business needs.
Minimum Education Requirements
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum Experience Requirements
2 years general office or secretarial experience.
Proficient in word-processing, Excel, Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrates proficiency with standard office equipment.
Knowledge of preparing presentation reports.
Ability to type 55 wpm.
Position Duties (essential functions denoted with an * )
Prepares standard reports, graphs, memo's minutes for the department head. Answering phones, distributing all incoming and outgoing mail in a timely manner.*
Establishes and maintains filing systems.*
Assist in preparation of payroll time sheets.*
Makes appropriate room and AV arrangements, takes minutes as requested. May coordinate meetings for department heads.*
Responsible for ordering departmental supplies, processing requisitions and purchase orders to maintain an adequate level to allow for normal departmental functioning.*
Operates standard office equipment: computer, ten key, photo copier and fax machine etc.*
Works with staff and other departments in coordinating effective communication activities.*
Portrays appropriate confidentiality when communicating.*
Prioritizes multiple department tasks and projects to ensure they are completed in the required time frame.*
Ability to organize work in order to complete required duties.*
