The University of New Mexico, School of Medicine invites applications for an open rank - open track faculty position in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. UNM's Urogynecology Division has an accredited Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship, has a busy clinical practice, and is active in research and education. The successful candidate will be involved with clinical teaching and clinical research responsibilities including off campus clinics. The successful candidates will be expected to participate in the education and surgical training of medical students, residents and fellows in the clinic, classroom, and operating room, and will provide additional surgical opportunities for training residents and fellows.
This is a full time position. The candidate hired must meet minimum requirements listed below.
Eligible to work in the United States
M.D. or D.O. degree or equivalent
Completion of a qualified residency program in OB-GYN or Urology
Completion of a Fellowship or advanced training in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery
Board certified or eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or American College of Surgeons
Clinical skills and scholarly activity
Experience working within a managed care environment
Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment
Experience or interest in research activity and career development
Experience or interest in enrolling and managing patients on clinical trials
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
Additional Salary Information: Salary commensurate with experience.
