Part Time 20 hours Grade 008 ESM Ensembles Library Responsibilities Position Summary: Under supervision of Ensemble Librarian and Operations Manager, The Library Assistant IV/Choral Assistant is responsible for processing choral music for use by four Eastman choral ensembles. Processing includes adding materials to the Libraryâ™s choral collection as well as distribution and collection of parts. Choral Library Assistant will also send group email correspondence to ensemble members as well as monitor attendance for all choral ensembles. Assist with the needs of library users and other associated or miscellaneous tasks as assigned. Requires the ability to understand various library procedures, possession of a broad knowledge of music and to work independently of supervision. May train and supervise student assistants. Responsibilities Process choral music for use by Eastman choral ensembles Monitor attendance and correspondence with choral ensembles members Assist with the needs of library users and lend support elsewhere as necessary Qualifications: Two years of post-high school education and 3-4 years of work experience required or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Prefer Bachelor's degree with major or minor in music. Strong organizational and computer skills and ability to work independently required.
