High school diploma required.Additional college level courses preferred.
A minimum of three years related office experience required, preferably in the health care field.
Minimum of 1 year in a DME customer service role preferred.
Advanced keyboarding skills required. Proven ability to learn one or more unique software applications such as Brightree.
Demonstrates basic mathematical and computational skills.
Demonstrates good writing skills with competency in composition and formatting of materials, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.Possesses the ability to prepare written communications and reports from general directions with minimal supervision.
Ability to bend, twist, reach, stoop, access areas of office environment.
Meets MHH established requirements for proof of health status.Physically able to lift 35 pounds.Demonstrates ability utilize good body mechanics or lifting techniques to avoid manipulating more than 35 pounds.
Meets Home Health and Medicare standards as evidenced by criminal background check and fingerprinting.
Possesses current Michigan motor vehicle license and an insured vehicle that can be used to complete required errands in various weather conditions.
Successfully maintains customer confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA regulations in relation to customers PHI at all times.
This position exists within Munson Home Health and works cooperatively within a team environment to support team goals.
Reports directly to the Manager. May take direction from the Assistant Manager or Lead Department Assistant. Has cooperative working relationship with staff within the company and throughout Munson Healthcare.

5.Independently responsible for managing/coordinating activities for one or more major processes or functions. Examples include the following:
·Accurate and complete HME order intake from all referral sources
·May be required to perform CSR duties if needed
·Scanning functions within the Brightree system
·Assisting Respiratory Specialists with the replenishment supply system
·Assisting other departments with projects as assigned
·Organizing/prioritizing work to meet deadlines
·Other office duties as assigned
·Answering phone calls while professionally representing MHME
·Enters all orders into the Brightree system in a thorough and accurate manner
·Verifies all insurance coverages
·Notes all customer correspondence in the Brightree system
·Answering phone calls for the showroom when needed
·Required to train new employees and in-service current employees on changing
health insurance requirements
·May be required to work at an off-site location
6.Employees with e-mail are required to maintain proficiency in the basic functions of the program and are also required to regularly check email and keep calendars up to date.
7.Will be required to perform on-call duties as assigned for intake of patient orders and paging of staff when necessary. On-call will be rotated amongst DA current staff. On-call duties will include:
·Receipt of pages by MMC switchboard staff within 10 minutes
·Input basic patient information into Brightree
·Verify all proper documentation is present before delivery
8.Performs other office tasks from time to time and other duties as assigned.
ADDITIONAL LEAD DUTIES:
·Monitors intake and CSR functions
·Monitors processes and completion of work for department assistants and CSR's
·Trains new employees in the CSR and DA roles as needed
