To assist the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance, who reports to the General Counsel, in the coordination of athletic rules and NCAA compliance for Oakland University intercollegiate athletics. All duties must be performed in a manner consistent with NCAA, conference and Oakland University rules, regulations, ordinances, policies, procedures and guidelines.
A Bachelors degree preferably in business administration or related fields or an equivalent combination of education and experience. One year experience in business administration or compliance or audit related functions. Computer literate. Excellent organizational, analytical, oral, writing and communication skills. Willingness to work non-standard and non-traditional hours.
Master’s degree. Two years or more of experience working in intercollegiate athletics compliance. Former student-athlete. Experience in high school or collegiate athletics administration. Experience with Sungard Banner and experience with NCAA compliance software.
