This position is responsible for providing mid-level administrative support for the Office for Academic Affairs. The primary position includes, but not limited to, providing administrative support for the Office for Academic Affairs; establishing and maintaining effective and productive working relationships within a diverse and multicultural environment; acting as secondary filter for a high volume of confidential information; providing administrative support for generating correspondence, developing presentation and meeting materials; maintaining databases; managing the flow of paper mail and files; managing and reviewing final documents correspondence to ensure completeness, accuracy and consistency with University guidelines; overseeing complex documents such as a master dictionary curriculum guides and procedure manuals according to established guidelines and serving as liaison for class schedules and the University Catalog in consultation with appropriate offices; interpreting policies and procedures and recommending solutions as it relates to the day-to-day operations; working with staff in Academic Affairs and the reporting units to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures; supporting Provost-led projects such as academic leadership searches, consultant-led projects, programming with high-profile external visitors, retreats, special planning sessions and special projects.
High School Diploma

Preferred Experience Requirements:
Two or more years experience providing administrative support to a senior level executive in an higher education or state education agency.
