This position requires knowledge of Home Infusion and Pharmacy best practices, procedures, and standards in accordance with state and federal regulations; and of personnel principles and practices. This position may provide direct patient care on an as-needed basis. Will partner with leadership and staff at all levels within the branch and the broader enterprise to enhance the internal organizational processes and infrastructure that will allow the company to continue to grow and fulfill its mission. The position is responsible for the branch's day-to day operating activities including Intake, Nursing, & Pharmacy functions (through shared matrix reporting relationships, where appropriate) as they relate to quality, efficiency, process, and cost. This role is responsible for daily supervision of a team of clinical and non-clinical managers, supervisors and administrative personnel.Primary Responsibilities:Accountable for driving the branch to achieve and surpass productivity, profitability, cash flow and business goals & objectivesResponsible for and overseeing the delivery of care to all patients served by branchActing Pharmacist in ChargeRepresents the organization with all referral sources, physicians, and the community on an as-needed basis in conjunction with other internal clinical and Sales resourcesCommunicates as needed with appropriate Corporate leadership concerning new developments and/or problems within the local branch and/or marketProvides guidance and leadership through direct and indirect management of Intake, Nursing, and Pharmacy as a cohesive process of patient careDirectly manages clinical & operational functions to ensure smooth daily operations and continuous improvement in patient care (including direct patient care as a clinician, where appropriate)Creates, manages, coordinates and executes all operational strategies and implements tactical plans for the branch that meet and exceed company expectationsIn partnership with VP, directs short-term and long-range planning and budget development for the branch to support strategic business goalsOversee reporting and monitoring of branch performance metricsAccountable for compliance with state and federal Pharmacy & Nursing regulations for branch locationParticipates in the interviewing, hiring, training, and firing of employeesParticipates in business development activities to support development of functional, efficient, and patient-oriented programs for the branchAbility to meet attendance, overtime, on-call, and other reliability requirements of the job
