Our Supervisors and their teams have a serious responsibility to make every contact informative, productive, positive, and memorable.Primary Responsibilities: Supervise Eligibility Representatives in their daily job functions to ensure groups are processed and timely quality standards are met.Assist our reps and business partners with questions pertaining to process and enrollment statusAssist the team in meeting production standardsAssist the team in meeting quality goals and provide coaching to their team members if applicable Assist efficiency and growth of department by forward thinking of process enhancementsBe flexible and have the ability to handle multiple prioritiesEnsure all standards set by the company, including Attendance, Dress code, etc. are adhered toHandle escalations courteously, politely and professionally as requiredAct as back-up support for other Supervisors as needed for meetings and other departmental responsibilitiesPerform other duties as assigned Impact of work is most often at the team level.
Required Qualifications:Associate's Degree (or higher) OR High School Diploma / GED with 5+ years of equivalent work experience 1+ years previous experience as a Supervisor, Team Lead, or SME Previous experience mentoring and / or coaching staffAbility to navigate various systems and platforms within Windows PC applicationsAbility to create and manipulate spreadsheets within Microsoft ExcelPreferred Qualifications:Ability to create documents within Microsoft Word Ability to create and utilize presentations within Microsoft PowerPoint Previous experience creating Standard Operating Procedures Soft Skill:Previous experience communicating effectively with all levels of staff up to and including Senior Leadership and various Business PartnersPhysical Requirements and Work Environment:Frequent speaking, listening using a headset, sitting, use of hands / fingers across keyboard or mouse, handling other objects, and long periods working at a computerService center environment with moderate noise level due to Representatives talking, computers, printers, and floor activityMust be able to work a 5 day week, 8 hour shift, any time between office hours of operationCareers with UnitedHealthcare.
