In this fast - paced role, you would manage Pharmacy Technicians to ensure productivity and improve current processes. Bring your pharmacy and supervision experience to a company that recognizes your contributions and encourages employee advancement. ***Hours for this position are Monday - Friday 11:30 am - 8:00 pm, plus overtime coverage as needed based on business needs *** Primary Responsibilities:Monitoring and managing staff productivity and quality Personnel management Handling escalated calls to ensure member satisfaction and save time Managing projects as needed Acting as the SME for processes, policies and procedures Identifying potential issues that interfere with workflow Determining and implementing process improvements Identifying trends and ensuring fair workload distribution Owns output at task levelWork is generally limited to own functionSets priorities for the team to ensure task completionCoordinates work activities with other supervisorsDevelops plans to meet short - term objectivesIdentifies and resolves operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgmentDecisions are guided by policies, procedures and business planProduct, service or process decisions are most likely to impact individual employees and / or customers (internal or external) Provide inspirational leadership and guidance to the team through feedback, performance management and development conversations
Required Qualifications: High School Diploma / GED 2+ years of Pharmacy experience (mail order, retail, hospital, LTC etc...) 1+ years of Team Lead or Supervisory experience MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong problem - solving skills Superior communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently Preferred Qualifications: Current and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License in the State of California National Technician Certification (PTCB) Call center experience Analytics experience PBM and / or Managed Care experience Bachelor's DegreeUnitedHealth Group is working to create the health care system of tomorrow.
